The Madhya Pradesh High Court has observed that the wife's denial of having a physical relationship with her husband amounts to cruelty to the husband. With this, the court upheld a family court's order allowing the husband's application for divorce. The couple got married in 2013, and just three days after marriage, the woman reportedly went to her parental home.
