UN Human Rights condemned the "racist, dehumanising remarks" against France skipper Kylian Mbappe by Paraguayan Senator Celeste Amarilla, calling it "despicable". "States and sports organisations must prevent acts of racism and discrimination, and ensure independent and effective accountability. Social media must also prevent and address racial discrimination on their platforms," it added.
