According to reports on Friday, a Korean-American man has confessed to stealing North Korean military secrets and plotting to overthrow the government with South Korea. Naturalised American citizen Kim Dong Chul was detained for "unpardonable espionage" in October by North Korean officials. This comes after a US student was sentenced to 15 years of hard labour for stealing a banner.
