Dettol manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser has clarified that its disinfectant spray can kill cold viruses (human coronavirus, RSV) and not the novel Coronavirus. The clarification came after a Facebook user posted an image of the spray saying it can kill the new virus. The company said it is not in a position to confirm levels of effectiveness against the new strain.
