Deutsche Telekom AG has bought SoftBank Group's stake in T-Mobile US for $2.4 billion. It now holds 48.4% of the company. Deutsche Telekom bought 21.2 million shares at an average price of $113 per T-Mobile share. In September last year, SoftBank agreed to swap about 45 million T-Mobile shares for a 4.5% stake in Deutsche Telekom AG.
