Dev Patel is set to make and star in his second directorial, 'The Peasant'. Produced under Thunder Road Pictures, it is a period revenge drama set in medieval India. It centres around a shepherd who avenges his community by going against a group of mercenary knights. Initially set in Italy, the film moved its plot to India under Dev's direction.
