Karnataka captain Devdutt Padikkal scored a 288-ball double century in the Ranji Trophy semi-final against Uttarakhand on Monday, securing his maiden double ton in first-class cricket. He scored 232 off 330 balls in the match, hitting three sixes and 29 fours, and helped Karnataka cross the 400-run mark. Padikkal had also built 278-run partnership with KL Rahul in the match.
