UP CM Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to form 'Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region (SCR)' along the lines of the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR). During a review meeting, Yogi said the population pressure is increasing in the neighbouring districts of Lucknow. Therefore, keeping future requirements in mind, Lucknow and its surrounding districts can be developed into an SCR, Yogi added.
