Aviation watchdog DGCA will launch probe into “uncommanded” deployment of Ram Air Turbine (RAT) on Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flying from Amritsar to Birmingham. The incident occurred on Saturday, when RAT was deployed moments before landing in UK. Earlier, Federation of Indian Pilots urged DGCA to conduct inspection of electrical systems in all Boeing 787 planes operating in India.
