US calls report on Trump's deportation drive fake news

The US Department of Homeland Security disputed a Migration Policy Institute analysis estimating ~980,000 deportations under Trump's first 18 months, calling it 'FAKE NEWS.' DHS claimed over 3 million undocumented immigrants left the US, while MPI estimated 1.3–2.4 million departures and said the 3 million figure was 'highly unlikely,' citing federal data.
