The Abohar-Jodhpur train connects Punjab and Rajasthan. It has no AC and is a train for poor people. Until 2021, around 1/3rd of the passengers were patients travelling to Bikaner's Acharya Tulsi Regional Cancer Treatment and Research Institute. Why are there so many cancer patients in Punjab? Because of "pesticide use, growing pollution and hardly no response by authorities."
