Fabindia's Chairman William Bissell at a recent event said, "I didn't have the fancy MBA degree but I had a dukandaar's (shopkeeper's) attitude towards business." He said he was in awe of people with MBAs who told him how Fabindia should scale up. "I listened to them and made my life's biggest mistake by acquiring a UK brand," he added.
