The value of digital payment transactions surged to ₹1,669 lakh crore in the first five months (April-August) of FY25, as per the latest Ministry of Finance data. Meanwhile, the transaction volume jumped to 8,659 crore during the period. The value of UPI transactions climbed to ₹101 lakh crore, while the volume reached 7,062 crore.
