Senior NCP leader and Maharashtra's Minister of Excise and Labour Departments Dilip Walse Patil will be given charge of Maharashtra Home Department, the state CMO said on Monday. Patil is set to be Maharashtra's Home Minister after Anil Deshmukh, who has been accused of corruption, resigned from the post. Bombay HC has ordered a CBI inquiry into allegations against Deshmukh.
