Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh shared proof of his Indian citizenship, tweeting, "The circumstances are such...I've to now give a proof of my Indian citizenship. Don't spread hate." Diljit shared a Platinum certificate issued to him by the government for paying taxes. He further wrote, "You don't become a patriot by calling yourself one on Twitter. One has to work towards it."
