Indian Foreign Service officer Dinesh Bhatia has been appointed as India's next ambassador to Brazil. Bhatia, an IFS officer of the 1992 batch, has previously served as ambassador to Argentina, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, and Liberia. He has held key positions in Indian missions abroad, including in Kuwait, Madrid, and Kathmandu.
