Ex-India batter Kris Srikkanth said Dinesh Karthik cannot be termed as a finisher, adding a finisher is a player who can take the match from the eighth or ninth over and finish it. "What Karthik is doing can be called final touches...Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant are finishers...and...Rohit Sharma [who] can...play till...17th over in 12th gear is also [one]," he stated.
