The Centre has banned direct selling companies like Tupperware, Amway, Oriflame and others from promoting pyramid and money circulation schemes as it notified new rules to regulate the industry. As per the order, companies should also specify details of refund, exchange, guarantee and grievance redressal mechanism on their websites. The entities have to comply with the rules within 90 days.
