Malayalam actress Sowmya told NDTV that an unnamed Tamil director "groomed" her as a "sex slave" when she was 18. She alleged the director and his wife were nice to her and 'bribed her' with good food after arm-twisting her family into letting her act in their movie. "At some point he...raped me. This went on for...a year," she said.
