Director-actor Raghava Lawrence announced opening Kanmani Annadhana Virundhu, a restaurant to give everyone access to expensive cuisine. He wrote, "I want to make foods, that are usually only available to the rich, available to people who've never had them before with this project." He added, "Food should be a joy that makes everyone smile, not privilege."
