Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singla was on Tuesday arrested by the state's Anti-Corruption Branch following complaints of corruption against him. This comes after Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann dismissed Singla from the state Cabinet after receiving "concrete evidence" against him. Singla was allegedly demanding 1% commission from officials for contracts, according to the Chief Minister's Office.
