Disney on Tuesday began layoffs expected to lead to 1,000 job cuts. Layoffs will affect jobs across TV including ESPN, film, technology and corporate units. Nearly all of Marvel's visual development team has been let go, with only a small crew of full-time employees remaining, Forbes reported. The job cuts come under the leadership of newly appointed CEO Josh D'Amaro.
