Walt Disney on Monday began laying off 7,000 employees. It had announced the layoffs in February this year. Several major divisions of the company, including Disney Entertainment, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, and corporate, will be impacted in this week's round of cuts. A second, larger round of job cuts will happen in April, Reuters reported.
