The Walt Disney Company on Wednesday closed its $71 billion acquisition of entertainment assets of media mogul Rupert Murdoch's Twenty-First Century Fox. Disney now owns Fox film and TV studios, FX Networks, National Geographic, Indian TV giant Star India and Marvel characters X-Men and Deadpool. Fox's news and sports businesses have been spun off into the newly formed Fox Corporation.
