Disney on Friday filed several lawsuits to retain control over Marvel characters Spider-Man, Black Widow, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel. The cases are filed in response to notices seeking to reclaim the copyrights of the characters to their creators. If the notices are successful, Marvel can use the characters by sharing ownership and profits with the creators' heirs.
