Disney offers higher payouts to long-time execs willing to quit ahead of mass layoffs

Ahead of company-wide layoffs, Disney is offering its long-time executives higher payouts for early retirement. It introduced Voluntary Early Retirement Offer (VERO), a limited program that will offer "enhanced retirement package that recognises their service and contributions". Employees aged 50 or older who have worked for at least 10 years at Disney and aren't on contract are eligible for VERO.
