Disney significantly cuts spending on Facebook ads amid boycott: Report

Disney has "dramatically" reduced its spending on ads on Facebook and Instagram, the WSJ reported. This comes as several firms participate in a month-long advertising boycott against Facebook, organised by civil rights groups over concerns of "rampant" hate speech and misinformation on the platform. Disney is reportedly estimated to be Facebook's top US advertiser in the first half of 2020.
