The Walt Disney Co. has announced that the first Disneyland in mainland China will open in Shanghai on June 16. The $5.5-billion resort will reportedly have the tallest Disney castle in the world, with a pirate-themed land and two hotels. Spread across 963 acres, the entire resort will be three times bigger than the one in Hong Kong.
