Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act discusses this. Both the spouses have to agree to divorce and issues like child custody and alimony may form a part of the final settlement.This is the simplest and most amicable way to divorce.and usually the divorce comes through in 6 months. I always recommend this divorce versus a contested divorce.
