Gopalganj District Magistrate Rahul Kumar on Friday had lunch cooked by a widow who was believed to be a 'bad omen' by her villagers. "Sometimes you do symbolic things to overcome people's beliefs," he tweeted. Kumar's gesture led to widow Sunita Kuwar being reinstated as a mid-day meal cook in a government school two years after losing her job.
