Tamil Nadu ruling party DMK has sent a ₹500-crore legal notice to state BJP chief K Annamalai alleging defamation after the latter released a video titled 'DMK Files' accusing DMK leaders of having unaccounted assets. The notice termed Annamalai's allegations as deceitful, baseless and said they're made with intention of tarnishing reputation. It further asked Annamalai to tender public apology.
