Some Audit Committees do not have a comprehensive understanding of the company business. The P&L does not say enough. This concern was in focus at a recent roundtable organised by Excellence Enablers. Some managements are happy with this situation as the challenge from Audit Committees by the way of pointed questions will be minimal.
