Police have arrested Pune's Sassoon General Hospital's former medical superintendent Dr Ajay Taware in connection with alleged kidney transplant racket, officials said. He's currently lodged at Yerwada Central Jail following arrest last year for allegedly tampering with blood samples of a 17-year-old boy who killed two people in a Porsche crash. City crime branch has now taken Taware into custody.
