Doctors find 13 pens, 5 spoons and candle in woman’s stomach
A 33-year-old woman in Andhra Pradesh was found with 13 pens, five wooden spoons and a candle in her stomach. Doctors removed the objects through endoscopy and laparoscopy. A 25-cm pen had perforated her stomach, causing pneumomediastinum. Doctors said swallowing foreign objects can lead to serious complications and may be linked to mental health issues.
