Finland-based startup Oura has equipped 2,000 medical workers in the US with its smart rings to track their temperature and vitals. It will use this data to develop an algorithm to potentially predict the onset of COVID-19. A Finnish user claimed his Oura ring alerted him to illness before he developed overt symptoms, prompting him to get tested for COVID-19.
