Pakistan's proven crude oil reserves are about 332.2 million barrels (ranking 52nd globally), while India has 4.495 billion barrels (ranking 23rd globally), as per US' CIA data. Moreover, Pakistan's oil imports were valued at $11.3 billion in the year ending June 30, 2025. Earlier, US President Donald Trump claimed US would work with Pakistan to develop its "massive" oil reserves.
