Current research has not established a clinically significant interaction between dietary turmeric and hormonal contraceptives. However, evidence on concentrated curcumin supplements remains limited, so caution is advised until more human studies are available. The bigger concern is high-dose curcumin supplements, which haven't been studied enough to rule out possible interactions.
