A dog, stuck in a nearly 200-foot deep gorge for two days amid heavy rainfall in Maharashtra, was successfully rescued on Tuesday. The dog was reportedly scared and exhausted, but otherwise unharmed and was safely reunited with rescuers. The rescue operation involved members of the welfare organisation Sahyadri Mitra, who retrieved the dog from the location.
