Dog survives 50 hours alone in Alaska wilderness after avalanche

A 4-year-old poodle-husky mix named LouLou was found alive in the Alaska wilderness after an avalanche on October 10. The dog was accompanying two experienced mountaineers when the avalanche swept them about 500 feet down a mountain ridge. LouLou remained missing for around 50 hours before rescuers found the dog alive and flew it to safety.
