Dogs can distinguish between happy and sad faces: Study

A study has found that dogs can distinguish between different human facial expressions. Researchers used MRI scans of dogs shown happy, sad, fearful and angry faces. They found that dogs' brains not only differentiate happy faces from other expressions but also distinguish between different negative expressions. Researchers said this is the first time such capability has been demonstrated in dogs.
