Don't encourage 3rd child: Ally Congress on Vijay govt's 365-day maternity leave rule

MP Karti Chidambaram, who belongs to TVK's ally Congress, said the CM Vijay-led government shouldn't encourage families to have a third child. Tamil Nadu government announced 365 days of maternity leave for women state government employees having their third child. "Do families have the resources to support a third child?" Chidambaram asked, adding that paternity leave should also be considered.
