Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is facing criticism over its decision to lay off about 12,000 of its employees. Employee advocacy groups like the Karnataka State IT/ITeS Employees Union and the Forum for IT Employees (FITE) have called the layoffs unlawful. They urged the affected staff not to resign voluntarily and to document all communication related to the termination process.
