After US President Donald Trump blamed Ukraine for its war with Russia, French government spokesperson Sophie Primas said France does not understand why Trump blamed Kyiv for the war. Primas said Trump had made a number of comments on Ukraine over the past few days without consulting his European allies. Trump has called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "dictator".
