Donald Trump doesn't understand AI: 'Godfather of AI' Geoffrey Hinton

Geoffrey Hinton, known as the "Godfather of AI", said US President Donald Trump "doesn't really understand AI" and is being "ill-advised" about the technology. He also called it "very silly" to push hard to create superintelligent AI before humans understand how to coexist with it. Trump recently signed an executive order renaming AI to Super Intelligence (SI) in federal documents.
