US President Donald Trump has announced plans to impose an additional 10% tariff on Chinese imports starting March 4. The US already levied a 10% tariff on China this month. Trump added that the 25% tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods will also go into effect next month. He cited drug trafficking as the reason behind the tariffs.
