Rumours of an apparent doomsday event sparked by a viral manga has caused a dip in tourist numbers in Japan, with visitors from Hong Kong dropping by 11% year-on-year in May, Reuters reported. The artist of the manga 'The Future I Saw' has, however, stated that she "isn't a prophet". Japan had seen a record number of visitors this year.
