Food delivery startup DoorDash has acquired Chowbotics, a US-based startup that makes a salad-making robot, for an undisclosed amount. As part of the acquisition, the Chowbotics team will become DoorDash employees, but the startup will operate independently within DoorDash, The Verge reported. Founded in 2014, Chowbotics was valued at $46 million in 2018, according to data firm PitchBook.
