DoorDash to acquire rival Instacart in ₹1.6 lakh crore deal

DoorDash will acquire US grocery delivery rival Instacart in a $17 billion (nearly ₹1.619 lakh crore) deal, marking its biggest acquisition yet. The deal will expand DoorDash's reach beyond restaurant orders and strengthen its presence in the grocery delivery market, helping it take on Walmart and Amazon. The transaction is expected to close by 2027 end or by early 2028.
