To curb incidence of drug addicted people joining state government service, the Punjab government Thursday announced that dope testing will be mandatory for recruitment to all departments under it. "This would not only encourage the youth to shun drugs but it would also ensure that healthy officers join the service in the future", Punjab CM Prakash Singh Badal said.
