Weightlifter Dilbagh Singh was withdrawn from India's Commonwealth Games (CWG) contingent after its quota was reduced from 16 to 11 due to five Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs) during qualification period. India had initially named 12-member squad. Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWLF) President Sahdev Yadav said Singh was injured and unlikely to perform well, so he was chosen to be withdrawn.
